There is something alluring about gardening in the Karoo where nature and climate test gardener’s capabilities and perseverance. Through Prince Albert Open Gardens we invite you to experience a very different take on gardening, working with plants that adapt to both extreme heat and cold, a terrain that can be rough and unforgiving, a region that is water scarce, and most importantly, gardens harmonising with the natural environment. Our aim is to introduce gardens that tread lightly on the environment yet create a space of happiness and accomplishment, welcome to our wonderful Karoo gardening world.
